Partners | Mission East



In Nepal, Mission East works in partnership with a range of Nepali NGOs. Mission East began its partnership in 2007 with KIRDARC  (Karnali Integrated Rural Development and Research Centre) in the remote mountainous Karnali Zone to the west of the country.  Over the years our partner portfolio has expanded to enable a variety of projects implemented through partners who have specialist expertise and / or essential local knowledge.

In response to the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, Mission East carried out an emergency relief programme in Sindhupalchok district in cooperation with Medair, and with the following local partners:

  • CDECF = Community Development and Environment Conservation Forum
  • SIS = Sindhu Improvement Society
  • NNDSWO = Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Organisation

In Nepal, Mission East also has a specific partnership with ICCO (ICCO Foundation, South and Central Asia Office) which is designed to further both organisations’ work on inclusive approaches todevelopment.
